Fancy Text Generator
Type once and see your text in dozens of styles. Click Copy and paste it anywhere.
Quick answer: Type your text and every style appears at once, such as 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮, 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠 and ⓑⓤⓑⓑⓛⓔ. Press Copy next to the one you like and paste it into a bio, caption or chat.
These styles are special Unicode characters, not a font, so they paste as text into most apps. Screen readers may read them oddly or skip them, and a few apps show empty boxes for some styles. Use them for names and short phrases, not for anything people must read with assistive tools.
How to use it
- Type your text in the box.
- Every style updates as you type.
- Press Copy next to a style and paste it into your bio, caption or message.
How does it work?
The styles are made of ordinary Unicode characters, such as the mathematical letters 𝐀 and 𝓐, so the result is plain text. There is no font to install and nothing to download.
Where can I use fancy text?
- Instagram, TikTok and X bios and captions
- Usernames and display names, where the site allows these characters
- Chats, comments and gaming names
- Documents and slides, when you need a quick style
Things to know
- Some sites block or replace special characters in usernames.
- Screen readers may read these letters one by one, or skip them.
- Search engines and search boxes may not match fancy letters with normal ones, so keep important words in plain text.
What fancy text really is
Fancy text is not a font. Unicode, the standard that gives every character a number, includes sets of letters designed for mathematics and symbols, such as bold, italic, script, fraktur and double-struck letters. This generator swaps each ordinary letter for its look-alike from those sets. Because the result is made of real text characters, it can be pasted into Instagram, TikTok, X, Discord, chat apps and documents.
Where it works, and where it does not
- Works well in bios, captions, display names, messages and slides.
- May show as empty boxes on very old devices or in apps with limited fonts.
- Some sites block or replace these characters in usernames, email addresses and web addresses.
Accessibility and search
Screen readers may read fancy letters one by one, skip them or announce them as "mathematical bold small a". If a message must be understood by everyone, keep the important words in plain text and use fancy styles only for decoration. Search boxes also do not treat fancy letters as the same as normal ones, so a fancy name can be harder to find.
Tips
- Use a style for a name or a short phrase, not for whole paragraphs.
- Bold and italic are the most widely supported. Gothic and bubble letters look striking but are more likely to break.
- Symbols such as stars, hearts and arrows are on the symbols page, and every character there copies with one click.
Nothing you type is sent anywhere, and nothing is stored.
What people use it for
- Social media bios and captions
- Gaming names and chats
- Titles for posts and slides
- Messages to friends
- Decorating notes and invitations
