Questions

How do I read a multiplication chart?

Find the first number in the left column and the second number in the top row. The square where they meet is the answer. For 7 x 8, go down to row 7 and across to column 8 to find 56.

What is a blank chart for?

A blank chart is a practice sheet. A child fills in the products, then checks the work against a filled-in chart.

Which size should I choose?

1 to 10 is enough for most schools. 1 to 12 is common in the UK and Canada. Larger charts help with mental math.

Is it free to print?

Yes. It is free for personal, classroom and home use. You do not need an account.

How do I save it as a PDF?

Press Save as PDF. After a short wait your browser's print window opens. Choose Save as PDF as the destination instead of a printer.
