Wi-Fi QR Code Generator
Make a QR code that lets guests join your Wi-Fi by scanning it.
Quick answer: Enter your network name and password, and the code appears. Guests scan it with their phone camera and join your Wi-Fi without typing the password. Everything stays in your browser.
How to use it
- Type the exact name of your Wi-Fi network.
- Choose the security type. Most home networks use WPA or WPA2. If you are unsure, check your router label.
- Type the password exactly, including capital letters.
- Download the code and print it for guests.
Good to know
- Recent iPhones and Android phones can join a network by scanning the camera at the code.
- Anyone who sees the code can join, so only display it where you are happy for guests to connect, and use a guest network if your router has one.
- If you change your password later, make a new code.

Questions
Is it safe to put my Wi-Fi password in a QR code?
The code holds your password in the pattern, so anyone who scans it can join your network. This tool does not send it anywhere. Share the code only with people you trust.
Which security type should I pick?
WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for almost all modern networks, WEP for very old ones, and None for open networks.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes, so the content is stored in the pattern itself. They work as long as the link or text is still valid.
Is my information uploaded?
No. The code is drawn in your browser, so your links and passwords stay on your device.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no install and no limit.
Is anything saved or sent?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Only your own best score, where a page shows one, is kept on your device.
