Classroom Timer
Large numbers any student can read from the back of the room. Go fullscreen on the projector and press Start.
Keys: Space starts or pauses, R resets, F toggles fullscreen.
How to use it
- Pick a time with the hours, minutes and seconds boxes, or tap a quick button.
- Press Start. Press it again to pause.
- When the time is up the page flashes and an alarm sounds. Press Stop alarm to silence it.
- Use Fullscreen to show the countdown on a projector, a TV or a second screen.
Tip for teachers: open the page on the classroom computer before the lesson, set the time, and use fullscreen so the countdown stays on the board while you teach.

Yes. Open this page in the browser on that screen and press Fullscreen. The numbers scale to fill the screen.
Is the alarm loud?
It uses a clear four-tone chime at your device volume. Turn the volume up on the classroom computer before you start.
Does the timer keep working in another tab?
Yes. It measures real clock time, so it stays correct while you use another tab or app. The time left also shows in the tab title. Your browser may mute sound in a background tab on some phones, so keep the screen on for the alarm.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no install and no limit. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent or stored.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It works in any modern phone browser. While a countdown is running we ask the screen to stay awake where your browser allows it.
